Hello friends,

I am late in my January newsletter. For my last show of 2024, I played back-to-back sets for First Night Chatham with my band. It was indeed a fantastic way to end the year. I hopped in my car and headed straight for the airport, where I had two weeks to thaw out and spend some much-needed downtime in the sun. We’re back at it now, and I have a few shows coming up I’d like to tell you all about.

January 31st - 8:30ish-10:30ish - Barley Neck - my full band will join me for this show. It’s time to dust off the guitar and fiddle and get back on the saddle.

February 2nd - 3:30-4:30 pm - Cape Cod Museum of Art Winter Series - Brian Miller and I will return for an intimate duo show. This is a ticketed event, so please check my website for the ticket link.

March 1st—7:30 pm—Cape Symphony Presents at the Pelham House Resort—I am excited to play this full-band show! You can grab your tickets on my website.

First Night Chatham 2024 - Orpheum Theater (Brian Miller and Paul Chase)

Again, thank you all for your support. If you aren’t a paid subscriber, I’d love to have you as one. As an independent musician, it's costly to bring a band on the road, make records, hire a publicist, etc. Any amount you can contribute is greatly appreciated. As a token of my appreciation, you will receive behind-the-scenes content from tours, the studio, demos of songs that we will pitch for the new record, and more.

In closing, I hope to see you all out and about sooner than later!

Thank you to those of you who are already paid subscribers. I have included a song I co-wrote with Laney Jones in Nashville during one of my visits. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it, but I’d love to get your feedback. Do you like it? Should I keep it or throw it to the wolves?

Saddle Up,

Monica Rizzio
