Whew! Sorry for the radio silence—it’s been a whirlwind in Monica-land. Since my last dispatch, here's the update!

Whew! Sorry for the radio silence—it’s been a whirlwind in Monica-land. Since my last dispatch, I’ve been busy! Buckle up for a quick (okay, maybe not that quick) update:

🌎 Recent Adventures (a.k.a. “Why Haven’t I Slept?”)

• ✈️ Panama or Bust: Taught an amazing songwriting class and performed a concert in Panama, as well as did some yoga and surfin’ (yes, the one with the canal—and no, I did not swim through it).

• 🎤 Double Trouble Shows: Played two gigs with my pal Reed Foehl—one at the super vibey Knickerbocker in Rhode Island, and another right in my backyard at Wellfleet Preservation Hall.

• 🧘‍♀️ Staycation Salvation: Took a week off, actually wrote some music (!!), and had a mini 2-night band retreat filled with creativity (and probably wine). Thanks Craig!

• 🎻 Pickin’ Season Wraps: Closed out my off-season Bluegrass Pickin’ Party series at the Barley Neck Inn. It was finger-pickin' fantastic.

🎸 Nerd Alert: Guitar Camp!

• 🎒 Flew to North Carolina for 4 days of intense guitar geekery.

• 🧠 Learned from some of the best pickers around—and tried to act cool while doing it.

• 💎 Played a $25,000 Martin Guitar. I almost needed a security escort back to my cabin.

🎶 Solo + Soulful

• 🎟️ Flew to D.C. and performed solo in Fairfax Station. It’s always a fun challenge to perform solo- no safety net, just me and the strings (and some very kind humans in the audience).

  

☀️ June Is Jumpin’

• 🏠 Kicked off the month with a sold-out house concert at Tom & Yasmine’s Carport Series. Thanks to everyone who grabbed tickets faster than I grab a capo mid-song!

• 🎓 Just one more day of teaching at Washashore Music until a two-week vacation!

• 🎵 Summer Shows Galore are on the calendar—variety is the spice of the setlist, and I’ll be performing in all kinds of formats (solo, duo, band, spontaneous cowbell solo (IYKYK… just kidding… maybe).
