From the Salty Shores of Cape Cod to the Wild Wild West!
I can't believe it's the middle of September. On Cape Cod, the crowds have lessened, and "local summer" is officially in full swing. I can go to the beach with my dog, not wait to make a left turn, and enjoy the full beauty of living near the ocean waters. At the end of August, I flew across the great U.S. with my buddy Tom Rush and played shows in Southern California and Phoenix. I decided to share some pictures of our trip, and if you are a paid subscriber, I have something special for you in this newsletter.
I have a few upcoming shows before taking a short break from performing to prepare for writing my next record. On September 28th, I will perform an intimate acoustic set with Brian Miller on guitar at the First Encounter Coffeehouse in Eastham, MA. It will be a special show, so grab your tickets below. On October 6th, my band and I will kick off the 10-Year Vinegrass Music Festival. Then, on October 19th, there will be another duo show at Harvest Gallery and Wine Bar. On October 20th, my band, The Round-Up, will perform at the Wellfleet Oysterfest at 11 am.
Cape Cod's longest-running Bluegrass/Americana music festival returns to the idyllic Truro Vineyards for its 10th-year festival on Sunday, October 6th. My band and I will kick off the Vinegrass Music Festival on the main stage at noon. The annual music festival is our biggest fundraiser of the year. We have awarded over $115,000 in music scholarships, grants, and instruments on Cape Cod & The Islands. You can check out our full lineup and grab your tickets below.
