Happy New Year, friends! I rang in 2024, performing a show at First Night Chatham on Cape Cod. It was a whirlwind of a day but ended on a high note. As I sat down to write my first official newsletter for 2024, I was flooded with reading all the recaps from everyone on their socials. I was trying to make a list but truthfully became too overwhelmed with trying to recap everything from 2023. It was a great year; I traveled far and wide, met some incredible people, and was fed some of the best music I have ever heard or seen.
I’m kicking off 2024 with a performance at the Cape Cod Museum of Art Music & More Winter Concert Series on Sunday, Jan 7 @3:30 pm. Brian Miller will join me on guitar and bgvs. I’d love to see you on Sunday, but if you can’t make it, please share with your friends and family. You can snag your tickets by clicking below.
I just got word that I’ll be supporting my buddy Raul Malo from The Mavericks on a few dates in March. I met Raul a few years back when I got a phone call that The Mavericks needed a guitar tech for their show in Lynn, MA. I got in my car and traveled in a snowstorm up to the show and told the guys whatever you do, don’t break a string during this show. They made it through the show, and Raul and I became fast friends. I supported him on a run out to the Mid-West in March 2020. The picture above was from our last show at The Space in Evanston, IL. (It ended up being our last show for a very long time due to COVID-19)
If you are in any of these cities, grab yourself a ticket and bring a friend. Raul is pretty magical, and I feel lucky to be part of these shows.
Thanks for reading, and if you enjoy receiving these in your inbox, please pass them on to your friends and family.
And feel free to bring Raul!
Was at that Space show and have followed you since. Come
On back to chicago.
